The Floes

A giant lava river that pours into the ocean and forms a constant chunk of cool lava rock that's then battered down by the waves underneath, and hosts a number of plant life only able to live in that specific area. Giant trees that form lava fruits that are bright orange with spiky skins and ice fruits that form and bloom from large flowering plants. The shores are covered in ash from the trees always catching fire and burning, but the seeds never fail to replant.
